Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is an education offering that leads to certification process for students wishing to Students include leaders of faith communities, seminary students, religious men and women, chaplains, deacons and deaconesses, ministers of care or coordinators of care, lay ministers, healthcare professionals, pastoral associates and parish nurses. The education sessions includes expressions of empathy and compassion, sensitivity to personal stories and histories, family systems understanding, theological reflections, medical ethics, contextual learning, group skills and partnerships, leadership development, management of personal issues in times of crisis, institutional dynamics and integration of theory and practice.
